This very attractive and drought resistant Aloe grows in South Africa (Western Cape). Leaves can be blue-green and pink-red depending on seasonal conditions. Rarely seen in cultivation.

Be careful that water does not sit in the growth center of the rosette in early Summer as this can easily cause rot. A well established Aloe comosa may tolerate light frosts. Try to keep above 32°F.

With many years, this Aloe will form an unbranched trunk. Expect a mature height of about 6 feet. (will try to have pictures up soon - a really nice Aloe)
