Aloe vacillans is an attractive drought-tolerant succulent from Saudi Arabia. Pale green leaves stand erect and may become pink in full sun. Expect a mature height of 2 to 3 feet.

Provide full sun and must keep above freezing. Aloe vacillans remains dormant during the winter months. Keep this plant dry during winter around 50°F.

Aloe is a very popular genus with almost 400 species occuring naturally in Africa, Madagascar, and Arabia.
