Cereus validus is a columnar cactus which grows wild in eastern Bolivia, and parts of Argentina. Beautiful blue-green bodies are especially attractive when graced with the very large white flowers which open at night.

Branching may occur at any point along the well-sculpted stems. Preferrable outdoor placement is in full-sun. Do not leave Cereus validus uncovered and vulnerable in freezing precipitation. Mature height is around 15 feet for this beautiful columnar cactus.
