Echinocereus pectinatus is easy to grow and flowers freely. The succulent stems slowly clump, which over time may form a small mound about 1ft in height.

Aeroles are oval in shape. Up to 6 central spines; 16 to 30 white or pinkish pectinate radials decorate the plant.

A minimum average temperature of 50°F is suggested. Provide very little water (about once a month in growing season). Plant in a porous soil mixture with good drainage. Full sun OK.
